Meditations and Prayers Relating to the Law of God.

1 Blessed are those whose way is ^{▼▼Lit complete; or having integrity

Who ^cwalk in the Law of the Lord.
2 Blessed are those who ^dcomply with His ^{▼▼Or provisions, and so throughout the Psalm}testimonies,
And ^fseek Him ^gwith all their heart.
3 They also ^hdo no injustice;
They walk in His ways.
4 You have ^{▼▼Lit commanded
,} ^jordained Your precepts,
^{▼▼Lit To keep}That we are to keep them diligently.
5 Oh that my ^lways may be established
To ^mkeep Your statutes!
6 Then I ⁿwill not be ashamed
When I look at all Your commandments.
7 I will ^ogive thanks to You with uprightness of heart,
When I learn Your righteous judgments.
8 I will keep Your statutes;
Do not utterly ^pabandon me!

9 How can a young man keep his way pure?
By ^qkeeping it according to Your word.
10 With ^rall my heart I have sought You;
Do not let me ^swander from Your commandments.
11 I have ^ttreasured Your word in my heart,
So that I may not sin against You.

13 With my lips I have ^vtold of
All the ^wordinances of Your mouth.

23 Even though ^aprulers sit and speak against me,

25 My ^atsoul clings to the dust;
^auRevive me ^avaccording to Your word.
26 I have told of my ways, and You have answered me;

27 Make me understand the way of Your precepts,
And I will ^axmeditate on Your wonders.

^baStrengthen me according to Your word.
29 Remove the false way from me,
And graciously grant me Your Law.
30 I have chosen the faithful way;

Lord, do not put me to shame!
32 I shall run the way of Your commandments,
For You will ^bdenlarge my heart.

33 ^beTeach me, the way of Your statutes, Lord,
And I shall comply with it to the end.
34 ^bfGive me understanding, so that I may ^bgcomply with Your Law
And keep it ^bhwith all my heart.
35 Make me walk in the ^bipath of Your commandments,
For I ^bjdelight in it.
36 ^bkIncline my heart to Your testimonies,
And not to ^bldishonest gain.
37 Turn my ^bmeyes away from looking at what is worthless,
And ^bnrevive me in Your ways.
38 ^boEstablish Your ^{▼▼Or promise}word to Your servant
^{▼▼Lit Which is for the fear of You}As that which produces reverence for You.
39 ^brTake away my disgrace which I dread,
For Your judgments are good.
40 Behold, I ^bslong for Your precepts;
Revive me through Your righteousness.

41 May Your ^btfavor also come to me, Lord,
Your salvation ^buaccording to Your ^{▼▼Or promise}word;
42 So that I will have an ^bwanswer for one who ^bxtaunts me,
For I trust in Your word.
43 And do not take the word of truth utterly out of my mouth,

44 So I will ^cakeep Your Law continually,
Forever and ever.
45 And I will ^cbwalk ^{▼▼Lit in a wide place}at liberty,
For I ^cdseek Your precepts.

And shall not be ashamed.
47 I will ^cfdelight in Your commandments,
Which I ^cglove.
48 And I shall lift up my hands to Your commandments,

And I will ^cimeditate on Your statutes.

Zayin

49 Remember the word to Your servant,
^{▼▼Lit On}In which You have made me hope.
50 This is my ^ckcomfort in my misery,
That Your word has ^{▼▼Or preserved me alive}revived me.
51 The arrogant ^cmutterly deride me,
Yet I do not ^cnturn aside from Your Law.
52 I have ^coremembered Your judgments from ^{▼▼Or everlasting}of old, Lord,
And comfort myself.
53 Burning ^cqindignation has seized me because of the wicked,
Who ^crabandon Your Law.
54 Your statutes are my songs
In the house of my ^cspilgrimage.
55 Lord, I ^ctremember Your name ^cuin the night,
And keep Your Law.
56 This has become mine,

57 The Lord is my ^cxportion;
I have ^{▼▼Lit said that I would keep}promised to ^czkeep Your words.
58 I ^dasought Your favor ^dbwith all my heart;

59 I ^dfconsidered my ways
And turned my feet to Your testimonies.
60 I hurried and did not delay
To keep Your commandments.
61 The ^dgsnares of the wicked have surrounded me,
But I have ^dhnot forgotten Your Law.
62 At ^dimidnight I will rise to give thanks to You
Because of Your ^djrighteous judgments.
63 I am a ^dkcompanion to all those who ^{▼▼Or revere}fear You,
And to those who keep Your precepts.
64 ^dmThe earth is full of Your goodness, Lord;
^dnTeach me Your statutes.

65 You have treated Your servant well,
Lord, according to Your word.

,} ^dpdiscernment and knowledge,
For I believe in Your commandments.
67 ^dqBefore I was afflicted I went astray,
But now I keep Your word.

Than thousands of gold and silver pieces.

When will You ^feexecute judgment on those who persecute me?

People who are not in accord with Your Law.
86 All Your commandments are ^fgfaithful;
They have ^fhpersecuted me with a lie; ^fihelp me!
87 They almost destroyed me on earth,
But as for me, I ^fjdid not abandon Your precepts.
88 Revive me according to Your faithfulness,
So that I may keep the testimony of Your mouth.

89 ^fkForever, Lord,
Your word stands in heaven.

You ^fnestablished the earth, and it ^fostands.
91 They stand this day by Your ^fpordinances,

99 I have more insight than all my teachers,

121 I have ^ifdone justice and righteousness;
Do not leave me to my oppressors.
122 Be ^iga guarantor for Your servant for good;
Do not let the arrogant ^ihoppress me.
123 My ⁱⁱeyes fail with longing for Your salvation,
And for Your righteous ^{▼▼Or promise}word.
124 Deal with Your servant ^ikaccording to Your graciousness,
And ^ilteach me Your statutes.

So that I may know Your testimonies.
